The materials used to produce High Protection surgical gowns are 3-layer-laminates with a Polyurethane (PU) Membrane and polyester microfiber.
3-layer-laminates composed of PU membrane coupled to two microfabrics made in 100% polyester are used for critical area in high protection surgical gowns.
The membrane in the laminates has the property of excellent fluid-repellency, virus impermeability and breathability, which gives full comfort to the surgical staff by the high level of breathability.
Washable Membrane Laminates
Microfiber fabrics (99% polyester/1% carbon fibre) are designed for use in the production of optimum level of protection against the contamination of personnel and products in areas where purity and hygiene are critical requirements.
The fabrics are treated to provide surface protection by forming a molecular barrier around the fibres. This ensures excellent fluid-repellency and stain resistance. The fabrics are durable and flexible, with a soft feel and good air permeability, ensuring a long service life and comfort in wear.
